This resource is a one-stop archive compiling injury prevention programs, activities and information resources that are available for youth. The resources in the toolkit have been identified by Alberta-based injury prevention practitioners as resources they use and find valuable when working with youth. Included for each resource in the toolkit is a brief overview of the resource, its target audience, delivery method, duration, outcomes, evaluation (if available) and link to the resource.
The toolkit has been collaboratively developed and managed by the Youth Injury Prevention Toolkit Working Group with participants from the Injury Prevention Centre, Alberta Health Services (Provincial Injury Prevention Program and Zone Health Promotion) and Students for Cellphone-Free Driving.
This toolkit is by no means comprehensive. If you are aware of additional resources that should be included in the toolkit, please consider completing and submitting the resource review form. Prior to submitting a resource, please take a minute to ensure the resource meets the requirements in the inclusion criteria guide. Submissions will be reviewed by the Working Group on a regular basis to ensure that resources have met the inclusion criteria.
